Risk Management

Peter Moore Consulting provides risk management consulting services where a client’s risk management framework, together with their policies, procedures and practices are reviewed. 

Sometimes, we carry out this through our Enterprise Risk Management System Survey, or we conduct a detailed one-on-one meeting with the CEO or the senior person responsible for the internal risk management process (CFO, CRO, CIO).

We help improve risk management by integrating it with corporate governance and strategic planning. If the client does not have a Risk Appetite Statement (a requirement of the Board to develop under risk management standards), we assist them in this process.

Peter Moore Consulting uses the international and Australian standards for risk management in the provision of our services, AS ISO 31000:2018 Risk management - Guidelines, and SA HB 436.1:2020 Risk management guidelines - Companion to AS ISO 31000:2018.

Peter Moore Consulting provides enterprise risk management benchmarking, which is use’s Risk Management Framework. The review includes its: policy, principles, framework, processes, tools, techniques, and risk management maturity.

Our Enterprise Risk Management System Survey is available on our website and is a secure form accessed through a browser (HTTPS). We encrypted it using a key held only by Peter Moore Consulting. This allows clients to provide information about their risk management activities confidentially and review the level of risk management in their organisation. Our Enterprise Risk Management System Survey also examines the degree to which risk management is embedded in a client’s organisation, and the degree to which risk management creates and adds value to their business.

Once you complete the form (which takes approximately 10-15 minutes), you submit it back to Peter Moore Consulting encrypted across the internet. We then sent the output of the benchmarking to our client, free of charge.

Clients sometimes need a facilitated workshop to review their current risks, controls, and update their risk register. Peter Moore, the Principal Consultant conducted this process. He has many years of experience working with organisations across a range of industries and guides clients through the process. After the workshop, Peter Moore Consulting provides a report on the outcomes and recommendations.
